camping tent, camping gearI grew up in Minnesota and this picture reminds me of my childhood. Last night when we were watching the weather, we remarked about the cold winter they are having up north, and I blurted out that I'd always wanted to go winter camping but my mom would not hear of it. I was shocked when my kids got really sympathetic toward me and said that if I wanted to go winter camping, they'd be happy to come along. My husband agreed to it, too, so today, I started looking for a camping tent that would work for us to go camping up north. Our mountains have had a record amount of snowfall this winter, so our first challenge would be finding a spot where we could find some ground to set the camping tent up and organize the camping gear. I would imagine we'll have to bring tons of firewood from home, but one night in snow up to our eyeballs while we're sitting around a raging campfire could be really fun. I would have lived out one of my childhood fantasies and my kids and husband would be trying something new, too Among the things we wouldn't have to worry about that we face in the summer is crowds and the view being blocked by other camping tents.camping tent, camping gear
